      Course Learning Objectives/Outcomes 
             
            By  the end of the course, the Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, Social Worker or Psychologist will be able to:  
            -Name three ways in which historical trauma can be expressed. 
            -Explain what is the symbolism of the circle. 
            -Explain what is the explicit focus of CBITS (Cognitive Behavioral Intervention
        for Trauma in Schools). 
            -Explain the characteristics that combine to create a powerful and 
        resilient practice of culture and serve as strong protective factors against adversity. 
            -Name a strong protective factor against many behavioral health issues. 
            -Name the five barriers that cause patients not to seek help.
